Seven-Panel Screening In One Sealed Cup

The 7 Panel Drug Test with Integrated Cup combines urine collection and multi-drug screening in a single device. Instead of transferring the sample to separate test strips, the specimen is collected directly in the cup, the lid is secured and each panel develops its own result.

This straightforward format can reduce handling and make the testing process cleaner and easier to manage. A built-in temperature strip provides an additional sample check, while the seven clearly labelled panels allow each drug group to be assessed separately.

Seven individual drug test panels built into the urine collection cup

Which Drugs Does The Cup Test For?

One urine sample is screened against the following seven drug groups. The cut-off is the concentration at which the screening test is designed to indicate a non-negative result.

Code Drug Group Cut-Off Typical Detection Window
AMP Amphetamines, including speed 1,000 ng/ml 2 to 6 days
BZD Benzodiazepines 300 ng/ml 2 to 14 days
THC Cannabis 50 ng/ml 2 to 30 days
COC Cocaine, including crack cocaine 300 ng/ml 2 to 5 days
MTD Methadone 300 ng/ml 2 to 8 days
MET Methamphetamine, including crystal meth 500 ng/ml 2 to 6 days
OPI Opiates, including heroin and morphine 2,000 ng/ml 2 to 6 days

Detection windows are approximate and should not be treated as a guarantee. They can vary according to the substance, dose, frequency of use, individual metabolism, hydration and other factors.

Key Benefits

  • All-in-one design: the test panels are built into the collection cup, so there is no need to transfer urine to another container or dip separate test strips.
  • Seven separate results: each drug group has its own result area, making it easier to see which panel has produced a negative or non-negative screening result.
  • Reduced sample handling: once the specimen has been collected, the lid can be secured to help contain the sample throughout the test.
  • Temperature check: the integrated strip helps the tester check the specimen temperature soon after collection.
  • Quick screening: results are read at approximately five minutes, subject to the timings stated in the enclosed instructions.
  • Flexible use: suitable for workplace screening, recruitment procedures, rehabilitation settings and personal testing where an easy-to-manage urine test is required.

How To Use The Drug Test Cup

  1. Bring the sealed test cup and urine specimen to the temperature specified in the enclosed instructions.
  2. Open the pouch immediately before testing and check that the cup is undamaged and within its expiry date.
  3. Collect the urine directly into the cup, ensuring there is enough specimen to run the test.
  4. Secure the lid firmly and place the cup upright on a flat surface.
  5. Check the temperature strip within the time stated in the instructions.
  6. Allow the test panels to develop, then read each result at the specified time. Do not interpret results after the stated reading window.

Always read the instructions supplied with the test before use. The enclosed leaflet takes priority if its procedure or timing differs from this summary.

Understanding The Results

Each drug panel includes a control area to show that the test has run correctly. A negative screening result is normally shown by both a control line and a test line. A faint test line should still be interpreted according to the enclosed instructions.

A control line without the corresponding test line indicates a non-negative screening result for that drug group. This is a preliminary result and does not by itself prove drug misuse. Any non-negative result should be confirmed using an appropriate laboratory method before a disciplinary, employment, legal or medical decision is made.

If the required control line does not appear, the result is invalid and that panel should not be interpreted. Repeat the test with a new device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does One Cup Test For All Seven Drug Groups?

Yes. The same urine specimen runs all seven panels, with an individual result shown for each drug group.

How Quickly Can I Read The Result?

The results are read at approximately five minutes. Follow the exact reading time in the enclosed instructions and do not interpret the test after the permitted window.

What Does A Faint Test Line Mean?

On this type of competitive urine screening test, a faint test line is normally treated as a negative result provided the control line is present. Always compare the result with the diagrams in the supplied instructions.

Does A Non-Negative Result Confirm Drug Use?

No. It is a preliminary screening result. Laboratory confirmation should be arranged before taking action based on a non-negative result, particularly in workplace, legal or clinical settings.

Why Is There A Temperature Strip?

The strip provides an additional check of the specimen temperature shortly after collection. It does not identify a drug and does not replace correct collection procedures.

Can The Cup Be Reused?

No. The drug test cup is a single-use device and should be disposed of safely after the result has been recorded.

I wanted to test for a number of drugs at the same time. Being rather bewildered by the wide choice of tests available, I went for this one. Glad I did – very simple to use and results were quick and clear. Recommend.
