How Does The Test & Drive Breathalyser Work?
The Test & Drive breathalyser uses a chemical indicator to detect alcohol in exhaled breath. When a breath sample passes through the device, the treated crystals react to the presence of alcohol and change colour.
The test has a stated detection threshold of 0.2 g/L blood alcohol concentration, equivalent to 0.02% BAC or approximately 0.1 mg/L breath alcohol.
