How To Use The Test Cup

1. Open the foil pouch only when you are ready to carry out the test and remove the cup.
2. Write the required donor or test information on the cup.
3. Unscrew the lid and collect the urine sample directly in the cup.
4. Replace the lid securely and keep the cup upright on a flat surface.
5. Remove the label from the cup to reveal the test panels.
6. Wait five minutes.
7. Read each test panel and check that its control line is present.

Understanding The Results

The cup displays a separate result for each of the 12 drug groups. Read every panel exactly as shown in the supplied instructions:

• Negative: Two coloured lines appear, one in the control area (C) and one in the test area (T). A faint test line still counts as a negative result.
• Preliminary positive: A line appears in the control area (C), but no line appears in the test area (T) for that drug.
• Invalid: No control line appears. Repeat the test using a new cup.

This is a screening test. A non-negative result indicates that the relevant drug or metabolite may be present at or above the test’s cut-off level, but it does not by itself prove drug misuse or impairment. Where a definitive result is required, arrange appropriate confirmatory laboratory testing.

A negative result means the test did not detect the relevant drug group at or above its stated cut-off level at the time of testing. It does not rule out exposure below that level or outside the test’s detection period.

Line intensity can vary. A faint line in the test area should still be interpreted as negative when the control line is present.
